- A little tin of chocolate covered Altoids… maybe someone was trying to tell me something? Who cares, it was a favorite gift hidden in my pocketbook for months.
- Classic Jelly Belly jelly beans, pop a few in your mouth and you have a low calorie snack. Favorites include buttered popcorn, the caramel corn and cappuccino.
- Make your own frozen hot chocolate with NYC’s very own Dylan’s Candy Bar Hot / Cold Chocolate mix. Love the tub which is perfectly gift worthy as is.
- Not for vegan friends… bacon has been showing up in the oddest places and this Mo’s Chocolate Chip Bacon Pancake mix has become viral. Perfect for Christmas morning? $14.
- Sofia Blanc de Blanc in little red cans is heaven. Sip the night away on New Years eve or save for picnics in the park. Around $17 for 4 pack.
- Jones, the soda always on my list in Fufu berry because of the cute penguins on the label, $18.99 for a 12 pack and now they have a carbonated soda candy too in Cream Soda, $2.49 each.

- Rodarte x Target circus tights… need I say more? Around $12. a piece. Yeah, nab them while you can and en bulk. These are only sold in stores… if you can find them.
- Zoya nail polish is very natural by nail polish standards and wears pretty well. Vegan friendly too. Around $7. a pop. Two of my favorite colors are shown above Indigo and Trixie.
- Smith’s Minted Rose Lip Balm is an old standared that you really can not have too many of. Gives that natural red blush and breath refresher to boot. Around $6. at most drugstores.
- Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm is found in most drugstores and has been the one I reach for the most. Worth every penny. $6.
- Got a Fred Flare about? If so, along with Mo’s Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancake mix you can find Holly GoNightly’s sleep mask. $14. Grab 2, especially for the jetsetter in your life.
- Lush’s Coalface soap is cheeky but many call it their holy grail of clean, especially for breakouts. $10.95 Another favorite is Luch’s Charity Pot which actually goes over budget by a few cents but with 100% being donated to charity, it’s forgiven. $20.45
- Make a huge gift tag and write “Drink me” on it and leave it on coworkers desks or stretch those Christmas stockings right out of shape. Gaiam makes water bottles that are pretty enough to make a person want to carry them. Best of all they’re easy to find in most supermarkets. $12.98
- The concept of a Gypset lifestyle seems very modern and the images in this book by Julia Chaplin will make everyone swoon. PS. get a used copy to fit our budget or forget the extra $9 bucks at the 50% off price tag. I’ve seen the discount deeper locally.
- A must have for anyone visiting the city… a Moleskine New York city journal. $19.95.
- These get eaten up, Hanaianas, $17.95 in candy colors.
- Runningpress makes some of my favorite just because/stocking stuffer/hostess gifts ever with these mini kits. For $5.95 you can get the Art of the Love Letter kit which comes with a wax seal, red sealing wax and tiny parchment stationery and envelopes + a pretty little book filled with actual love letter quotes. Best of all many bookstores stock these in all sorts (think zen, yoga, Chinese Seals, etc.)
